There's a strict time frame to do it in and you need at least a few highly magical assholes to make it happen! 

Also it may or may not cause anxiety and upset stomach in the target. That may just be Ona's personal reaction.

So some deep lore tidbits.

Ona's mentions of the Squirming Ones, the glowing squiddy things in here after life vision, the Squirming Legions that Baron CreepKnight mentioned earlier in this arc, and the Eldritch Top Hat/Hathulhu/Elder Top Hat that has appeared throughout the entire existence of VW are all the same things. If Voodoo Walrus had a more hardcore set of magical rules guiding it, CK would be a warlock and he and anyone magical in the CreepKnight Clan would consider the Squirming Ones to be their magical patrons.
